Great conversations at Interpack and Chemspec Europe
The Octobox team has had a busy few days attending Interpack 2026 and Chemspec Europe 2026, meeting people from across the packaging, chemical and supply chain industries.
Both events gave us the opportunity to have valuable conversations around the real operational challenges businesses are facing when transporting liquids, powders and granules. From reducing transport and handling costs to improving return logistics, reuse, compliance and overall supply chain efficiency, there was plenty to discuss.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us, share insight and explore how Octobox could support their operations.
Conversations shaped by real supply chain pressures
Trade shows are always a useful reminder that packaging is about much more than the container itself.
The right bulk packaging system can affect every stage of the journey, including filling, handling, storage, transport, discharge, return, reconditioning and reuse. For many businesses, that means packaging has a direct impact on cost, space, compliance, sustainability and day-to-day operational performance.
Across both events, we spoke with businesses looking for practical ways to:
- reduce single-use packaging waste
- improve transport and handling efficiency
- lower cost per shipment or cycle
- make better use of warehouse and vehicle space
- support return and reuse models
- improve traceability and compliance
- protect product integrity across the supply chain
- move liquids, powders and granules more efficiently
These are exactly the types of challenges Octobox is designed to support.
Supporting more efficient liquid, powder and granule logistics
Octobox reusable IBC systems are built around real operational requirements.

That means looking at the product being moved, how it is filled, how it needs to be discharged, how the packaging will be returned, and what the wider supply chain needs from a cost, compliance and sustainability perspective.
For liquid, powder and granule supply chains, a reusable and collapsible IBC system can help reduce waste, improve storage efficiency and support more controlled logistics. With options around sizing, liners, discharge methods, branding, traceability and reconditioning, Octobox can be tailored to suit different products, sectors and site requirements.
The conversations we had at Interpack and Chemspec Europe made one thing clear: businesses are actively looking for packaging systems that do more than simply move product from A to B.
They need packaging that helps reduce friction, improve control and support long-term operational performance.
A valuable few days for the Octobox team

It was great to meet so many people across both events and to hear first-hand about the pressures, priorities and opportunities shaping the packaging and chemical supply chain sectors.
Events like these are valuable not only because they allow us to explain what Octobox can offer, but because they help us understand what businesses need from modern bulk packaging.
That insight matters. It helps us continue developing practical, reusable IBC solutions that are built around real supply chains rather than generic packaging assumptions.
Letβs keep the conversation going
A big thank you again to everyone who stopped to speak with us.
Whether we discussed reusable packaging, circular logistics, bulk handling, compliance, transport efficiency or product-specific requirements, we really valued the opportunity to connect.
We are looking forward to continuing many of those conversations over the coming weeks.
